Classic EleganceLocated in one of the most prestigious communities in Granite Bay, this stately 10,000 square foot estate expresses an incredible level of detail that more than rivals its size. Designed to be reminiscent of the grand estates of Bel Air, precisely proportioned forms were combined with classical materials in exacting detail to create truly a unique and elegant estate. For this project, Donald Fugina worked with the owners over a period of years from the early site development stages, up to and including landscape design and interior design- even furniture, art, and accessories were hand selected by Donald. East Meets WestInspired by the gracious estates seen in Cape Cod, this 6,500 square foot custom home blended that eastern aesthetic with a western open floor plan that features wide spacious windows and doors and multiple outdoor living areas to take advantage of the California climate. Nestled into a grove of existing native oak trees, the Donald Joseph design team worked tirelessly to create an established feel to the estate that would blend in to the existing neighborhood, while creating a unique and functional family home for everyday living. |

Martis Camp Retreat
Situated on the largest property at the peak of the exclusive community of Martis Camp in Truckee, Donald Joseph Inc. shows its range by designing a unique traditional mountain chateau that still captures the spectacular views from the site . Through the use of frameless corner glass and corner sliding pocket doors, the Owners are able to have a comfortable, even cozy, home away from home, yet still be able to entertain many of their friends in this amazing natural setting. Donald Joseph Inc. worked closely with the Owner to select all the materials, from the authentic slate roofing to the unique metallic slab tile floors, once again proving their immense value in designing and developing one of a kind properties. |
